  1. How to Access ODSP Medical Supply Support in Ontario

If you receive benefits through the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) and require ongoing medical or incontinence supplies, you may qualify for assistance under the Mandatory Special Necessities (MSN) Benefit. Follow the steps below to access approved supplies with support from Emerdepot.

Step 1: Request the MSN Benefit Form from ODSP

Contact your local Ontario Disability Support Program office or your assigned ODSP caseworker and request the Mandatory Special Necessities (MSN) Benefit form.

Step 2: Have the Form Completed by a Healthcare Provider

Book an appointment with your family doctor, nurse practitioner, or authorized healthcare provider. They will complete the MSN form based on your medical condition and the supplies you require on a monthly basis.

Step 3: Submit the Completed Form to Your ODSP Caseworker

Return the fully completed MSN form to your ODSP caseworker. Once received, your caseworker will review the request and determine the need for a monthly medical supply cost estimate.

Step 4: Obtain a Monthly Medical Supply Quote from Emerdepot

Provide your caseworker with a monthly supply estimate from Emerdepot. Our team will prepare a clear, detailed quote based on your approved needs, such as:

    • ODSP-approved adult diapers and briefs

    • Pull-ups and protective underwear

    • Underpads / bed pads

    • Related medical supplies (as applicable)

Step 5: Receive ODSP-Approved Supplies at Home

After ODSP approves the MSN benefit and supply estimate, Emerdepot will coordinate ongoing monthly delivery of your approved medical supplies — shipped discreetly and directly to your front door anywhere in Ontario.
