This water-based, water-repellant, silk-like tape provides strong adhesion to comfortably secure medium to heavy dressings yet remains permeable so skin can breathe. Hypoallergenic; non-sterile.

BREATHABLE TAPE - Surgical Tape is a general-purpose adhesive tape best used for wound dressing and overall wound care. This bandage/dressing tape is made of a highly breathable material that protects skin integrity, especially during prolonged wound care. Despite great adhesion, the tape still lets the skin breathe without causing irritation.


 WOUND PROTECTION - A moist environment is conducive to wound healing. Covering wounds with the right type of bandage + dressing + adhesive tape combination helps protect the wound bed from contamination and keeps it moist. The use of breathable microporous tape prevents further damage to the skin while providing bandage stability.

Cleansing sodium chloride dressing

Mesalt® is intended for the management of moderate to heavily exuding non-infected/infected wounds such as pressure injuries, foot ulcers and deep wound management e.g. cavity wounds and fistulas.

• It absorbs exudates, bacteria and necrotic material and stimulates the wound’s natural cleansing mechanism.
• It creates a hypertonic wound environment which is unfavourable to micro-organisms and supports bacterial balance.
• It is absorbent non-woven viscose/polyester wound pad and impregnated with crystalline sodium chloride.

A small, flexible sheet of material which is sticky on one side, with a smaller, non-sticky, absorbent pad stuck to the sticky side. The pad is placed against the wound, and overlapping edges of the sticky material are smoothed down so they stick to the surrounding skin.
