BACTIGRAS is a sterile, non-adherent dressing composed of a fine mesh gauze impregnated with white soft paraffin BP containing 0.5% chlorhexidine acetate BP. This combination provides a moist wound environment and delivers antimicrobial properties to prevent infection. 

Intended Uses:

BACTIGRAS is indicated for a variety of wounds, including:

• Minor burns and scalds

• Lacerations, abrasions, and other skin loss wounds

• Donor and recipient graft sites

• Leg ulcers

It is suitable for use on wounds at risk of infection or those already infected when used alongside systemic antibiotics.

Application:

BACTIGRAS can be used as both a primary and secondary dressing on wounds of varying depths and exudate levels. It is also suitable for use under compression and may be applied over infected tissue or used to pack deep wounds.

Each size is typically packaged in boxes containing 50 dressings.
