These Non-Woven Drain Sponges 6-Ply are ideal for wound cleansing and also can be used as a secondary dressing for added absorbency. They produce less lint and are less adherent than woven gauze sponges, so they cause less disruption to the wound bed. The rayon/polyester blend provides fast wicking properties while being highly absorbent, and minimizing skin maceration. Does not contain natural rubber latex.

The 4" x 4" Non-Woven Drain Sponges 6-Ply are sterile DuSoft® tracheotomy and drain sponges. They are designed for dressing around tubes and drainage sites. Product 84916 features a soft, non-woven construction with six plies.

6-Ply Non-Woven Drain Sponge

The DuSoft 84916 Drain Sponge measures 4" x 4". It uses a rayon and polyester blend for absorbency and fast wicking. The non-woven material is designed to produce less lint than woven gauze.

An added fenestration allows the sponge to fit around tubes. This design makes it suitable for tracheotomy and drainage applications. The sponge is designed to remain less adherent to wound beds.

Absorbent and Low-Linting Design
