The Covidien Appose ULC Skin Stapler by Covidien is a single-use skin stapler that is designed to be fired from multiple angles. It features an ejector spring that helps facilitate staple insertion from any direction. It has an easy-squeeze handle and uses stainless steel staples.

This wound stapler is lightweight and has the ability to accurately place staples to close wounds. It is a great alternative to Curity skin closure strips, adhesive tape, suturing, or glue. It is simple to use and comes with a flat, dimpled staple top span that ensures proper staple formation.

The Skin Staplers line has two different size staples: regular - 8886803712 and wide - 8886803512. In the closed position, the regular staple has a width/crown of 4.8mm and leg length of 3.4mm; the wide staple has a width/crown of 6.5mm and leg length of 4.1mm.
