The Laerdal Stifneck Select Collars are adjustable extrication collars designed to support the cervical spine during patient transportation. The range includes adult and pediatric options. Laerdal designed the Select collar to provide multiple sizing positions in one collar.

Adjustable Cervical Support

The adult Stifneck Select combines four adult sizing positions in one collar. These positions include no-neck, short, regular, and tall. The collar can be measured, adjusted, and locked into the selected position. Its locking mechanism helps provide symmetrical adjustment.

The Pedi-Select is designed for pediatric patients. It provides three sizing positions. These include pedi, midi, and mini. A pink strap helps identify the pediatric version quickly.

Easy Sizing and Application

The Stifneck Select is supplied as a preassembled, single-piece collar. No assembly is required before use. Molded instructions on the rear panel help guide sizing and application. Laerdal describes a four-step process: measure, adjust, lock, and place.

The collar includes an oversized tracheal opening. This provides access for advanced airway procedures and pulse checks. The rear panel opening supports cervical spine palpation, ventilation, drainage, and neck visualization.

Adult and Pediatric Options

Laerdal offers the Stifneck Select in several configurations. The adult Select collar is available under product number 980010. The green adult version is 980012. The pediatric Pedi-Select collar is 980020.
