The chemstrip urine testing system is a multi-parameter test strip to measure certain constituents in the urine. These measurements are useful in the evaluation of renal, urinary, and metabolic disorders.

How do test protein content in Urine on a daily basis?

To test your urine on a daily basis, use a simple test kit containing a urine testing strip that you dip into a fresh sample of your urine. Follow the instructions on the kit and find the results by matching the color of the strip to the color blocks on the container.

Record your results in a notebook or log, along with your blood pressure and whether swelling (edema) is present. Notify your health professional of your results as often as needed. You can also take your notebook and results with you to each doctors visit.

The Hemastix urinalysis test strip is the reliable frontline test for the detection of blood. Hemastix is a small 3" plastic test strips with a square of blood reagent material at the tip.The yellow reagent material will then turn shades of green if blood is present. Hemastix is also used in forensics analysis.

How to use Hemastix blood test strips?

Simply rub the Hemastix on a moistened stain or across a swab that has a suspected dried blood sample on it. The reagent coated tip will turn a shade of green if hemoglobin is detected.

For testing Blood in Urine, you can dip the stripped tip on the urine sample.

How to read Urine Test dips?

Compare the color reaction to the chart on the side of the bottle to determine the level of hemoglobin in the sample. If the reaction is positive, take a photograph of the strip by the substance to document the reaction and retain the strip as evidence.

Please note that Hemastix will not detect the difference between human and animal blood.
