Lactated Ringer's Injection USP 1000mL

This Lactated Ringer's solution contains sodium chloride, sodium lactate, potassium chloride, and calcium chloride. Each 100 mL contains 0.6 g sodium chloride, 0.31 g sodium lactate, 0.03 g potassium chloride, and 0.02 g calcium chloride dihydrate. Water for Injection is used as the vehicle.

The solution has a calculated osmolarity of 275 mOsmol/L. Its labeled pH is 6.2, with an acceptable range of 6.0 to 7.5. Electrolyte concentrations include sodium 130 mEq/L, potassium 4 mEq/L, calcium 3 mEq/L, chloride 110 mEq/L, and lactate 28 mEq/L.

The B. Braun L7500 Lactated Ringer's Injection contains no bacteriostatic or antimicrobial agents. It is not made with natural rubber latex, PVC, or DEHP. The EXCEL® container provides a practical format for clinical fluid administration.
