Sterile Water for Injection USP is a clear, colorless, odorless liquid. It is sterile, hypotonic, nonpyrogenic, and contains no bacteriostatic or antimicrobial agents. Macerator Compatible 

Hospitals have been stepping up their game over the last few years. Any of them that are equipped with a macerated, have made great strides towards removing reusable products. To avoid contamination risk, macerators serve as a means to sterilize and destroy any waste that enters. 

Firstly, any macerate items that have been used are added to the laundry-machine like chamber on the top. The provided waste is then chopped to shreds by a number of blades while flushing the remaining matter down the drain.
