Cold Therapy: For maximum performance place the sleeve in the freezer for at least 2 hours. If the sleeve causes discomfort, remove it immediately.

Hot Therapy: Only heat the sleeve when it is at room temperature. Place the sleeve in the center of the microwave. Heat in microwave ovens as follows:

Medium: 60 seconds; Large: 65 seconds.

If a sleeve is not warm enough, heat it for an additional 10 seconds maximum. The sleeve should be warm, not hot. If a sleeve is too hot, allow it to cool until a comfortable temperature is reached prior to use.
