The Agilia® VP MC WiFi CA Large Volume Pump (IV Pump) from Fresenius Kabi is designed to support a broad range of institutional infusion workflows while maintaining a compact bedside footprint.

The pump provides a flow-rate range from 0.1 to 1,500 mL/h and supports both dose-rate and mL/h programming. Configurable profiles and drug libraries can be managed through compatible Fresenius Kabi medication-safety software, subject to the facility’s selected configuration and licensing.

Its Dynamic Pressure System monitors changes in infusion-line pressure to help healthcare professionals identify a developing obstruction or possible line leak. The pump also offers adjustable pressure settings, automatic Keep Vein Open functionality and real-time event logging.

WiFi connectivity supports compatible networked pump-management workflows. Manufacturer specifications identify support for IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless networks and WPA/WPA2 security protocols. Software, drug-library, network-integration and configuration services may be sold separately.

The pump is designed for use with compatible Fresenius Kabi Volumat® administration sets. Selected Volumat sets incorporate a colour-coded pumping segment and SafeClip technology that automatically clamps the line when it is removed or when the pump door is opened, helping protect against unintended free flow. Compatible set configurations include primary, filtered, light-protected, PVC-free, transfusion, burette and secondary lines.
