Amika+ Enteral Feeding Pump with Continuous & Bolus Modes from Fresenius Kabi provides controlled delivery of enteral nutrition and hydration through a feeding tube. Its intuitive graphical interface is designed to support both healthcare professionals and properly trained home-care users.

The pump supports both continuous feeding and programmed bolus feeding, with adjustable flow rates from 1 to 600 mL/h. Users can program feeding volumes from 1 to 5,000 mL in 1 mL increments. In bolus mode, the pump supports programmable bolus volumes, intervals and multiple scheduled boluses according to the prescribed nutrition plan.

Amika+ includes automatic, semi-automatic and manual priming options, keypad and settings locks, night mode and feeding-history and alarm-history records. Visual symbols, indicator lights and audible alarms help communicate pump status and conditions such as an empty feeding container, air in the line, occlusion, incorrect set installation, an open door or low battery.

The lightweight pump weighs approximately 610 g and can be used in stationary or mobile configurations. The battery provides manufacturer-rated operation of up to 24 hours at 125 mL/h, supporting movement within appropriate care environments when used with compatible accessories.

The Amika+ is intended exclusively for enteral feeding and must not be used for intravenous administration. Use only compatible Fresenius Kabi Amika enteral feeding sets and follow the current Canadian Instructions for Use and the patient’s prescribed feeding plan.
